Back to School Program

Thank you to all who volunteered, donated items, and provided other support for our Second Annual Back to School Fair.

The event, held in collaboration with The Loveland Initiative, was once again a success in helping parents with back to school  needs for their children.  An increase of 41% of students were registered this year vs last, but we managed to cover the additional need.  Each child received a new backpack stuffed with grade appropriate school supplies from the Loveland Initiative.  In addition, LIFE provided gift certificates for a haircut and a new pair of shoes along with a hooded sweatshirt for each child in grades Pre-K through 12th.  

It is very rewarding to see these kids proudly wearing their new backpack grinning from ear to ear.  Thanks again Loveland Community for your generosity.

 

Our Mission

To provide faith-based emergency assistance and services to residents within the Loveland, Ohio School District, and to members of our supporting congregations, while working to identify needs and develop programs that will encourage self-sufficiency in individuals and families.

The L.I.F.E. food pantry is located in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 101 South Lebanon Road in Loveland, Ohio  45140.  Enter the double glass doors of the Parish Life Center.
