The L.I.F.E. organization provides the following programs to needy families within the Loveland School District. - Food Pantry
- Operates year round from our facility in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church
- Client families can receive groceries 12 times per year at 28 day intervals
- Food provided is designed to be one week's worth of groceries
- Holiday Baskets
- L.I.F.E. distributes groceries to prepare two full holiday meals during the week of Thanksgiving to families who have enrolled for this program.
- L.I.F.E. of Giving Shoppe
- Allows eligible families who have enrolled the chance to shop for new gifts for their families.
- Shop operates for two days during the Christmas season at the Charles Brigham Masonic Lodge across from Symmes Park.
- A family representative chooses gifts for the entire family, such as clothing and accessories, bedding, small appliances and toys.
- Free gift wrap is provided.
- Winter Warm-up
- L.I.F.E. distributes a new hooded sweatshirt for each child 18 and under for eligible families who attend the Sign-up Day for Holiday Programs in late September.
- Financial Assistance
- Limited financial assistance is provided in emergency situations for rent and utilitiies.
- Financial assistance is limited to one instance per calendar year.
- Fundamental Learning Supplies
- Provides school supplies to needy children throughout the school year.
- Senior Services
- Seniors are provided additional quantities of food.
- Delivery is provided for home-bound senior.
- Seniors receive cards from L.I.F.E. on their birthdays and holidays.
